                  Animal Chiropractic

As with people, most animals can benefit from chiropractic care. Adjusting has been shown to aid in the prevention of many disorders including luxating patellas, hip disorders, ACL injuries, herniated/ruptured discs, incontinence, hind end weakness/paralysis, allergies and chronic ear infections, to name a few. The majority of diseases seen in animals today are a result of poor nutrition, inadequate exercise, exposure to environmental toxins, stress, and a poorly functioning nervous system. The nervous system regulates every function in the body (organs, movement, ability to fight off diseases and the ability to heal from trauma). If this system is not communicating properly with the rest of the body, this can contribute to many different disorders. Dr. Angelique Barbara is certified as a Veterinary Chiropractitioner and Animal Chiro-technician and she is trained to find and correct these areas of miscommunication.
