RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

     Masters Research U of A, Tucson, August 2004 - December 2006

Cultured strains of Clostridium perfringens Type A and inoculated chickens with these strains to produce necrotic enteritis.  Performed necropsies on challenged birds, obtained tissues for histologic evaluation and typed all Type A strains collected from birds using Pulsed-field Gel Electrophoresis.
